I am sixty-six years old and see myself as an open, outgoing, active and warm person. I love walking, reading and spending time with people.
In my younger years I did business studies in Switzerland. I have been back in the business arena for more than twenty-five years. I recognize the challenge many businesspeople face in juggling and trying to reconcile the demands of professional and private life. Supervision can assist a person in that process. Under “style of practice” I briefly define supervision.
Thirty-four years ago, my husband and I, emigrated from Switzerland to New Zealand. I embraced the life lesson of accepting change, letting go and welcoming new things/challenges in my life; in other words, I was actively involved in what is called ‘the grieving process’. The difficult experience to be diagnosed with cancer and to go through chemotherapy treatment was an opportunity for personal reflection and growth but it was by no means an easy journey.
We brought up our four biological children and welcomed several foster children in our home. In the meantime, I have been married for over forty years and my husband and I enjoy being grandparents of eight beautiful grand kids: three girls, five boys.
I see it as a privilege that I can offer a wealth of life and business experience to my clients.
